Gandolfa Catanese, age 86, of Yorkville, IL peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2021, at Season Hospice in Naperville, IL. She was born December 6, 1934, in Sicily the daughter of the late Rodolfo and Rosalia Rettaravella. In 1968 Gandolfa and her husband along with the children migrated to Chicago, IL. She was a dedicated homemaker for her husband and children. She is survived by her daughter Maria Catanese of Plano, IL, three sons Joseph (Kathleen) Catanese of Carol Stream, IL, Andrew Catanese of New Port Richey, FL, Daniel (Lora) Catanese of Yorkville, IL, seven grandchildren, one great grandson and a brother Onofrio (Pina) Rettaravella. She was preceded in death by her husband Michelangelo Catanese on December 1, 2020. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL.
