Frank Joseph "Doc" Wisniewski, age 76, of Sun City West, AZ, formerly of Shelby Township, MI, passed away December 3, 2020 in Arizona. He was born May 31, 1944 in Cleveland, OH, the son of Andrew J. and Regina C. (nee Lewandowski) Wisniewski. Prior to his retirement, Doc worked as a teacher at L'Anse Creuse High School-North. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Illinois and St. Therese of Lisieux in Michigan. Frank enjoyed running, biking, golfing and spending time with his family and grandkids. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Jacqueline (nee LeCompte), children Christine Marie (Robert) Willacker of Ann Arbor, MI, Ruthanne Eileen Wisniewski of Surprise, AZ, Brian Joseph (Heather) Wisniewski of San Francisco, CA, Theresa Elizabeth (Matthew) Clifford of Naperville, IL, 12 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia C Lucas. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 15th from 5 to 8pm at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday, December 16th at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 701 S. Eola Road, Aurora, IL, 60504.
