Florence R. "Johnnie" Patterson, 88 years young from Montgomery IL died Monday, January 26, 2015 at Seasons Hospice in Naperville IL surrounded by her loved ones. She was born January 25, 1927 in Aurora IL, the daughter of the late William and Mathilda (Marklein) Johnson. She was married to Raymond "Bud" Patterson March 23, 1946. And for 54 years they lived in Yorkville and Plainfield before moving to Montgomery. Bud passed December 20, 2000. Florence loved animals as she and her family cared for a wide variety from farm to domestic. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting for the family as well as the outdoors from gardening, fishing, camping with the family and riding motorcycles in her younger days with Bud. Her beloved neighbor, Donna, as well as other family and friends will miss her dearly. She is survived by her children—two sons, Dennis A. Patterson of Montgomery IL and Gary D. and Cindy (Schoger) Patterson of Plainfield IL; two daughters, Wendy L. Hodges and Donna K and Dale Kahle, all of Montgomery IL; seven grandchildren, Brian Patterson and Andrew and Meagan (Peck) Patterson, all of Plainfield IL, Leah Patterson of Dubuque IA, Miles Patterson of Madison WI, and Krystal (Kahle) and Andrew Madden of Yorkville IL, and two great grandchildren, Andrew and Olivia Madden. She was preceded in death by her three brothers, mother, husband and son, Norman L Patterson Visitation will be Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. with Rev.
