Ruby Faye Turner, age 103, of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Bickford of Oswego.  She was born August 10, 1914 in Dryknob, MO, the daughter of Jeffrey and Hattie (Bagwell) Peterson. In 1942 Faye moved to Illinois from Missouri where she and her husband Russell farmed in the Oswego area until 1984.She was a member of Oswego Presbyterian Church for over 75 years. She was employed at Anchors Brush in Montgomery and later received a volunteer award after 19 years from Tillers. She was an avid bingo player, loved crocheting, organ playing and most of all loved her grandchildren. She will be remembered for having the best sweet rolls and chicken and dumplings. She is survived by her son Charles "Chuck" (Diane) Turner, 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Russell Sr; sons Russell Jr., James; and daughter Sharon Hoyle. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 10:00 AM- 12:00PM with funeral service beginning at 12:00 Noon at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 South Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. Burial to follow at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made out to Angels Grace Hospice, 440 Quadrangle Drive g, Bolingbrook, IL 60440.
