IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Faith E.
Betz
September 15, 1950 – February 28, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Faith E. Betz, who left this earthly realm on February 28, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on September 15, 1950, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Faith was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her. She spent her final moments in Aurora, Illinois, surrounded by the love of her family.
Faith was the beloved daughter of Wade Wilson and Ruth Brown, who have preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her devoted husband, Ken Betz, and her brother, Wade Wilson. Despite these losses, Faith's spirit and love for her family never wavered.
Faith is survived by her two loving sons, Charlie (Dona Trejo) Kakkuri and Richard Kakkuri, who were her pride and joy. She was a doting grandmother to her cherished grandchildren: Jakob, Joshua, Jonah, Sophie, Eli, Quinn, Jace and Artis. Faith found immense joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever.
Professionally, Faith served as the Business Director for the Menta Group, where her dedication and leadership positively impacted the lives of countless students and staff. She was a pillar of her community, though she was not one to seek the limelight, often preferring the quiet satisfaction of helping others.
Faith's life was rich with hobbies and interests that reflected her vibrant personality. She had a passion for traveling, which allowed her to explore new horizons and create memories in far-off places. She also loved puzzles, word games, and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as sharing a Pepsi or a Marlboro light. Her beloved cat, Nora, was a constant companion, bringing her comfort and joy.
An avid golfer, Faith reveled in the tranquility of the greens, where she could spend hours enjoying the fresh air and the camaraderie of friends. Her hearty laugh and infectious smile could brighten even the gloomiest of days.
Faith will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering support for her family, and her unshakeable resilience. She had a unique ability to bring people together, ensuring that no family gathering was ever short of laughter or love.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to cherish your loved ones, share a laugh, and cultivate the bonds that matter the most, just as Faith would have wanted. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and the reminder to embrace life's simple joys.
Rest in peace, Faith E. Betz. Your light will forever shine in our hearts.
