Esteban G. Hernandez, 87, of Oswego, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 in Aurora. He was born on April 8, 1929 in Del Rio, TX, the son of Esteban and Martha nee Guardo Hernandez. He married Maria Perales on January 20, 1950 in Weslaco, TX. Esteban is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Maria Perales; Children Steven (Ophelia) Hernandez, Yolanda (Rick) Campbell, Jaime (Linda) Hernandez; grandchildren Steven (Baili) Hernandez, Javier (Sally) Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, Joel (Ruby) Hernandez Jr., Alessandra (Terry) Tom, Angelica (Oscar) Montalvo, Doniella (Bob) Eubanks, Francesca (Jeff) Fuller, Dionna (Ramon) Rinconeno, Art Garcia, Antoni Campbell, Jessica Hernandez, Jedediah Hernandez, Jacqueline Hernandez; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a sister Rosalva Cory; a brother Romeo Hernandez; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons Joel and Javier Hernandez; 2 brothers Ramiro and Roberto Hernandez. Visitation will be held on Friday, 2016 from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL, 60543. A mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL, 60543. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora.
