EMMA "MICKEY" CASS July 2, 1929 - April 15, 2018 Emma R. "Mickey" Cass, 88, of Millington passed Sunday afternoon, April 15, 2018 at Valley West Community Hospital. Emma was born July 2, 1929 in Millington to Oliver & Emma (Brown) Johnson. She was joined in marriage to Russell Edward Cass July 18, 1949 in Plano. Russell passed November 27, 2014. She enjoyed reading, watching TV, going to Bingo and working all kinds of puzzles until her eye sight failed. She especially loved watching her beloved Chicago Cubs. She is survived by her three children, Arnold (Kathy) Cass of Algonquin, Frederick Cass of Millington, Janet (Jim) Tomaszewski of Fountain Hills, AZ; two grandsons, Joey Tomaszewski and Jonnie Tomaszewski. Emma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Russell Edward Cass; five sisters, Alice Johnson, Gertrude Johnson-Foote, Gladys Johnson-Vikrey, Beulah Johnson-Blue, Audrey Johnson; seven brothers, infant - Glenn Johnson, Harvey Johnson, Herman Johnson, William C. "Bud" Johnson, adult-Glenn Johnson, LeRoy Johnson and James Johnson. According to her wishes cremation services were accorded by the Gabel-Dunn Funeral Home Ltd. in Newark. Phone 815-695-5131.
