Emily Ann Lowers, 66, of Chicago, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Rush-Copley Medical Center. She was born May 3, 1953 in Ottawa, Illinois, a daughter to the late Ralph and Elinore nee Johnson Lowers. Emily graduated from Marquette High School in Ottawa and received her Master's Degree from U.I.C. in Chicago. She was employed as a medical writer and worked for Cigna Insurance for 17 years. Emily enjoyed music, reading, writing and playing the guitar. Survivors include her loving husband, Richard J. Holic of Chicago; daughter, Sarah (Jason) Glasch of Montgomery, IL; granddaughters, Ava and Emma Glasch; sisters, Louise (Michael) Byrne of Marseilles, IL and Mary (Thomas) Markwalter of Mason City, IA; brother, Ralph (Nan) Lowers, Jr. of Willow Springs, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Tyler Terry; sister, Susie Lepore; brother, Edward Lowers; and both parents.
