Elvis C. Breedlove, Jr. age 80 of Oswego, IL passed away peacefully at home on November 12, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born December 10, 1942, in Henderson, KY, the son of the late Elvis C. Sr. and Elfie J. (nee Bryant) Breedlove.

He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war 1964-1966 62nd Combat Engineer. He was a board member and coach for the Sugar and Spice Girls softball and Pony Baseball League. He retired form Caterpillar in 1997 at 30 years and is a member of the Parish of St. Anne Catholic Church.

Elvis is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Shirley nee Klein, two children, Christopher (Michelle) Breedlove and Katherine "Katie" (Gary) Harper, three grandchildren, Brittany and Lani Breedlove and Maile Harper.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday November 21, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 S. Douglas Road Oswego, IL.

Family and friends to meet directly at Risen Lord Cemetery Oswego, IL where a committal service will be held on Wednesday November 22, 2023, at 10:00 A.M where full military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Army.
