Elizabeth Belle Reynolds It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Belle Reynolds, who departed this life peacefully at her home on November 3, 2026. Born on May 1, 1934, in the serene community of Carp Lake, Michigan, Elizabeth was the cherished daughter of Albert and Nina (née Gove) Elder.
Elizabeth was a devoted homemaker, dedicating her life to nurturing her family with love and warmth. A woman of profound faith, she was a devout Catholic and found solace in watching Sunday Mass on television. Her love for life was evident in her avid reading, an activity that transported her to different worlds, and her enthusiasm for puzzles, which kept her sharp and engaged. Family was at the core of Elizabeth's existence. She was the beloved wife of the late John Reynolds, with whom she shared many precious years. Together, they built a family rooted in love and resilience.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, John, and her children Barbara, John, and Michael Reynolds Sr. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Albert, Duane, Margaret, Frances, and Dwight.
Her legacy lives on through her surviving children: Victoria (Timothy) Schielar, Kathryn (Roy Malik) Reynolds, Debora Maubach, Lori (Paul) Schuster, Deana Reynolds, Douglas (Marietta) Reynolds, and Scott (Donna) Reynolds. Elizabeth was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, and her brother Charles (Marie) Elder and many nieces and nephews who loved her deeply.
Elizabeth's life was a testament to the power of love and dedication. She found immense joy in spending time with her family, and each gathering was a celebration of the bonds she so carefully nurtured. Her gentle spirit and unwavering dedication to her loved ones will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Elizabeth Belle Reynolds will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever be a guiding light for those she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love of those who have gone before her.
