Elias J. Hasapis, age 63, of Yorkville, IL, peacefully passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL.  He was born June 6, 1954 in Greece the son of Ioannis and Paraskevi nee Gavros Hasapis. He was a member of St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church in Aurora, IL.  He is survived by the mother of his children Christina of Yorkville, IL, son Patrick (Sultan) Hasapis of Lisle, IL, grandsons John & Jacob, brothers Chris (Voula) of Greece, Angelo Hasapis of Yorkville, and a daughter-in-law Tina Hasapis of Yorkville, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and sons John and George.
