Eileen M. Ward of Sun City Center, FL died on June 22, 2021 at the age of 91. She was born December 10, 1929 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of late James and Clarissa Greshaw. She was preceded in death by her husband James K. Ward on March 10, 2011; first husband Arthur Probst (the father of her children) on July 9, 1992; granddaughter Alyson Probst on September 3, 2020; brother Robert Greshaw and sister Ann nee McGowan Mehlmann. She is survived by her three children Jeff (Janet) Probst of Yorkville, IL; Judi (Philip) Bonomi of Oswego, IL; and Jay (Jayne) Probst of Orlando, FL; two grandchildren Jayson (Sandy) Probst of Evansville, IN and Zach (Kelly) Hesselbaum of Batavia, IL; three great-grandchildren Jaydon Probst of Evansville, IN; Rockne Hesselbaum and Brynn Hesselbaum of Batavia, IL; and sister Janith nee Greshaw Highley. Eileen graduated from Oswego High School in 1947. She was a cheerleader and married her high school sweetheart, Arthur. Eileen and Art raised their three children in Oswego, IL. Eileen was gracious, kind, caring, and always a lady - her hair perfectly styled and dressed in the latest fashion (she was the Jacqueline Shop's first and most loyal customer for many years). She was a legal secretary for Reid, Ochsenschlager, Murphy & Hupp in Aurora, IL. Eileen later became an executive secretary at Caterpillar, Inc. in Aurora, IL where she met and married her second husband, Jim. They moved to Morton, IL where they both enjoyed being avid golfers at the Pekin Country Club. Eileen continued her secretarial career in Peoria at the Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery. After retiring to Sun City Center, FL., Eileen and Jim continued their golf leagues for several years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Cremation rites with a private graveside service and interment at Pearce Cemetery in Oswego, IL were held according to Eileen's wishes.
