Edie Farcus of Naperville, IL went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 8, 2023.

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 7, 1933, to Benjamin and Elsie Weltman.

Edie attended high school at Bayview high school in Milwaukee, WI.

She worked at Lucent technologies for over 20 years, retiring in 2000. Edie loved to travel with her friends all over the world, she was an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing her gardening knowledge with everyone. The time she spent with her children, grandchildren and friends meant the world to her. Most of all, Edie had a strong faith and loved the Lord, she was active in her church and enjoyed her bible studies.

Edie is survived by her children, Brian (Judy) Daily, Kelly (Greg) Powell and Shari (Tom) Walsh along with grandchildren; Matt & Kaitlyn Daily, Erin Powell, Greg (Mayura) Powell, Logan & Jack Walsh; and great grandson Kaydence Powell. She was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Elise and sister Lorraine.

A celebration of life for Edie will be held on Saturday March 11th, 2023 at 10:30am at Peace Lutheran Church 21W500 Butterfield Road, Lombard, IL 60148.
