Dr George Pearah, MD, age 95, of Oswego, IL, died Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. He was born July 5, 1928, in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late Eprim and Nancy Bedell Pearah.

He served his country honorably with the US Navy during World War II. After the service he attended and received a Medical Doctor degree from the University of Illinois school of Medicine. He was in private practice in the Lisle and Naperville, IL areas and subsequently went into industrial/occupational medicine at AT&T formerly known as Western-Electric.

He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Oswego, IL.

Survivors include his wife Barbara (Schultz) Pearah, two daughters Susan Bird, Sandra (Jim) McIntosh, four grandchildren Rachael (Aaron) Hinds, Kirstin (Nick Seedorff) Hinds, Jennifer (Brody) Zmolek, Jonathan McIntosh, a brother John Pearah, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siter Alice David, two brothers David and Sam Pearah and his parents.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 10:30 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 5 W Washington St, Oswego, IL.

Memorials may be directed to either the Church of the Good Shepherd, 5 W Washington St, Oswego, IL 60543, or the charity of the donor's choice.
