Dorothy Mae Fisher, age 92, formerly of Glendale, AZ, peacefully passed away with her family and friends by her side on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Harbor Chase in Plainfield, IL. She was born July 31, 1926 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of the late Bartholomew and Myrtle nee Hallett Mynor. She spent her life taking care of her family and home and loved her grand and great-grandchildren very deeply. She is survived by her children Jim (Jenny) Fisher of Portland, OR, Jackie (Tim) Walsh of Oswego, IL, Gary (Rebecca) Fisher of Boise, ID, grandchildren Derek (Julie) Fisher, Melanie (Ryan) Dewey, Haley (Mike) Warren, Juan Carlos Fisher, Jocelyn Fisher, step-grandchildren Diane and Erickson, great-grandchildren Mya Dewey, Arlie Fisher, Ashton Dewey and Hunter Dewey. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold T. Fisher and brothers James, William "Billy", Richard, Lester and Patrick. A gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday, March 2, 2019, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 8S055 Dugan Road, Sugar Grove, IL 60554. A luncheon at the church will follow mass.
