Dorothy J. Bergstrom, age 77, of Oswego, IL, passed away with her family by her side on Monday, August 29, 2016 at her residence. She was born on February 13, 1939 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Walter and Icca nee Hammond Frenk. Dorothy worked for many years as a cook for IMSA and several other schools. She had a love of all crafts, especially needlepoint and ceramics. She loved to travel, read and cook for her family. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Roy of Oswego, IL, children Brad (Beth) Bergstrom of Rock Hills, SC, Ron (Nancy) Bergstrom of Aurora, IL, Corrie Bergstrom of Oswego, IL, 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Walter Frenk. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Aurora, IL.
