IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Donna Kay
Miller
December 1, 1945 – October 23, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Kay Miller, aged 79, who left us on October 23, 2025. Born on December 1, 1945, in Louisville, Kentucky, Donna touched the lives of many during her time on this earth. She lived a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories, all of which will forever be etched in the hearts of her loved ones.
Donna was the beloved daughter of Thomas E. Mahoney and Sarah Jane (nee Martin). She was preceded in death by her husband, James Frank Miller, her precious daughter, Jamie Lee Baumgarten, and her sister, Barbara Jean McKinney. The losses she endured only deepened the love she had for her remaining family, and she worked tirelessly to create a loving and nurturing environment.
Surviving Donna are her devoted daughters, Kimberly "Kim" Miller, Stacey (Teddy) Pole, and Barbara Miller. She also leaves behind a thriving legacy through her grandchildren: Dominic Trainer, Victoria Trainer, Sarah Moran, Laura Baumgarten, Christy Baumgarten, Brian "Bud" Baumgarten, Jimmy Baumgarten, Allen Baumgarten, Sophia Pole, Andy Pole, Vincente Morrow, and Landon Morrow. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, and they will always remember her loving embrace, her infectious smile, and her unwavering support.
Donna's professional journey included her role as a Sales Associate for K-Mart and as a secretary, where she exemplified dedication and hard work. But her true passion lay not in her career, but in her family and the simple pleasures of life. She was a homebody at heart, who found joy in the warmth of her home, the company of her grandchildren, and her favorite pastimes. A lover of Mexican food, Donna often delighted in sharing meals with her family, relishing every bite and creating lasting memories around the dinner table
A private funeral service will be held at Abraham Lincoln National. Donna's wish for her family is to celebrate her life and remember the joy and laughter she brought to each day.
As we bid farewell to Donna Kay Miller, we hold dear the memories we shared and the lessons she imparted. Her love and kindness will continue to guide us, and we are forever grateful for the time we had with her. Rest in peace, dear Donna. Your legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved you.
Creamtion arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory. Services will be held privately.
