Donald Y. Vickery, age 89 passed away peacefully at his home on February 12, 2023.

He was born on March 19, 1933 to Homer and Alice (Young) Vickery in the same home he passed away in, in Minooka Illinois.

He graduated from Yorkville High School in 1951, and was later drafted into the United States Army where he served from 1954 - 1956. Don was married to Anna (Sterle) on July 1, 1972 in Joliet Illinois, they were happily married for 50 years. Don actively farmed the family farm all of his life.

He is survived by his wife Anna, his two sons David (Leanne) and Jeff, along with his two grandchildren Jacob and Savannah.

He was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Alice.
