Donald Lee Rot age 81 of Oswego passed away August 24, 2023, in Oswego. He was born July 15, 1942, in Oak Lawn, IL the son of the late John and Gertrude (De Maar) Rot.

He married Barbara Johnson on June 2, 1962, in Western Springs and attended Harvest New Beginnings Church in Oswego.

Donald is survived by his two daughters, Ellen (Jeff) Prentice and Karen (Don) De Boer, three grandchildren, Brittany (Kyle) Baum, Stephanie Prentice and Tyler (Rylee) De Boer, great grandson Hunter Baum, siblings, Albert (Sue) Rot, Pearl (Hime) Van Dahm, Evelyn (the late Larry) Johnson, Grace (the late Bob) Shadle and sister-in-law Beverly Rot, Marilee Rot and Nelva Rot.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Barbara Rot (2016), siblings, John Rot, William Rot and Burt Rot.

Services were held privately at Clarendon Hills Cemetery Darien, IL.

Arrangements were entrusted to the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 S. Douglas Road Oswego, IL 60543.
