Donald B. Harper, Jr. 78 of Sheridan, IL was the loving son of Donald B. Harper, Sr. and Evelyn Harper. He was born in Aurora, IL. Everyone knew him as Butch.

He ran Harper's used cars after it was passed down to him by his parents. Those that knew him could always find him in the evening hanging out with his long-time best friend Jim Carlson and many other friends.

He is survived by his wife Terry Harper. Children Jody Harper (Zara Harper), Sheena Ellis, Terina Ellis, Heather Ellis and many grandchildren.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Donald B. Harper, Sr. and Evelyn Harper, his sister Sandy Harper, his two children Corey Harper and Evelyn Ellis, his first wife Arlene Harper and second wife Mary Carlson.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 12:00 PM (Noon) until a memorial service at 3:30 PM at the Gabel-Dunn Funeral Home 102 S. Johnson Street, Newark, IL.

Following the service, family has invited everyone to join them at the Norway Community Building at 3667 E. 2603 Rd., Sheridan, IL, 60551 for food and refreshments.
