Donald T Bennett Sr., age 61, died suddenly on Monday, June 28, 2021 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport, IL. He was born July 28, 1959 in Lemoore, CA. He was a member of the Class of 1977 of Aurora Central Catholic High School. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and huge Pittsburgh Steeler fan. He was employed by First Student transportation company as a schoo\l bus driver for 5 years and at A/I/S of Sugar Grove, IL. He enjoyed being every kids grandpa. Survivors include his wife Tamara J nee Hattersley, a daughter Melissa Bennett, one son Donald T (Nichole) Bennett, Jr.; two step sons Drew Augusten, Nikolas Augusten; eight grandchildren, his parents Bob and Martha (Willard) Bennett, three sisters Debbie (Brett) Patterman, Laurie (Rick) Werrline, Chris (Scott) Holloway; two brothers Clay (Beth) Bennett, Steve Bennett; also several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a step son Aaron Augusten. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Bliss Creek, 1 Golfview Ln, Sugar Grove, IL 60554 Cremation took place at American Crematory in Oswego, IL.
