Donald N. Adam, age 89, of Aurora, IL, peacefully passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Jennings Terrace in Aurora, IL.  He was born on January 22, 1928 in Aurora, IL, the son of John and Anna nee Pillatsch Adam. Don was a member of Calvary in Naperville, IL. Prior to his retirement, Don was a truck driver for Superior Beverage Company.  He was a member of the Phoenix Club in Aurora, IL.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family at his summer home on Portage Lake in Onekama, MI. He is survived by his children Donald (Janet) Adam of Defuniak Springs, FL, Janet (Richard) Truemper of Sugar Grove, IL, Steven (Lisa) Adam of Aurora, IL, Michael (Lisa) Adam of Yorkville, IL, Lauren (Bruce) Boyd of Batavia, IL, Mark Adam of Cary, N.C., Nancy Edkins of Naperville, IL, Paul (Mary) Adam of Batavia, IL, Julie (Todd) Beery of Lockport, IL, Kristen Adam of Batavia, IL, Gary (Erin) Adam of Naperville, IL, 37 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Gertrude Smith, his second wife Joan Gauger and a son Eric Adam. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 AM until a memorial service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Calvary West Church, 1600 Beta Drive, Sugar Grove 60554.  Burial of the urn will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Aurora, IL.  The entire Adam family would like to thank Rainbow Hospice and Jennings Terrace for the wonderful care they have provided to Don.  Memorials may be made to Rainbow Hospice, 799 S.
