Dolores Frances Mikus, 86 of Oswego, IL passed from this life into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, March 10, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born November 30, 1935 in Aurora, IL to Charles and Violet (Yonkowski) Nowodzelski. Dolores attended St. Peter Catholic School and Madonna High School in Aurora. Survivors include her loving husband, Richard; her beloved daughters, Linda (Gary) Witchousky of Eatonton, GA and Laurie Mikus of Aurora; her daughter-in-law, Cyndi (Randy) Mikus-Rosset; and numerous loving relatives. Rich and Dolores were blessed with 68 wonderful years of marriage. Dolores was a proud Grandmother to six grandsons: Tony (Cindy), Nick (Kristen), Drew (Hilary), Zachary, Joshua and Jacob. She was known as Grandma Dee Dee to her five great grandchildren, who were the love of her life: Addison, Chase, Darren, Teddy and Camden. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Thomas; her brother, Joseph; and her parents. Dolores loved God, her family, flowers, birds, butterflies and all things Christmas. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, kind heart and bear hugs. We miss you sweet and wonderful lady. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Rd., Oswego, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL. Interment will follow in Marywood Cemetery in Aurora.
