LeRoy John Dobson, age 82 of Oswego, IL died Saturday May 4, 2013 at Seasons In Patient in Naperville, IL. He was born November 12, 1930 in Monroe Point, WI, the son of the late Willard Lee and Rachel Ann nee Jackson Dobson. LeRoy was a member of Cross Lutheran Church in Yorkville, IL and was a chauffer with Naperville Chauffering until his retirement in 2001. He is survived by his wife Eloise A. (Perrot) Messmore, his children, Catherine (Tim) Nupert of TX, LeRoy Dobson, Jr. of OH, Cynthia Dobson of WI and Michael (Dawn) Dobson of East Dubuque, IL, Kristine (Greg) Larsen of Oswego, IL, and Douglas (Tina) Messmore of Oswego, IL, thirteen grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Dora Rowley of Mineral Point, WI, Lois Dobson of Denver, CO, Rebecca (Ron) Kellen of Dewey, AZ, his brothers Earl Dobson of Salt Lake City, UT, Harry (Mary) Dob son of Fair Oaks, CA, Dean (Faith) Dobson of Saganaw, MI Willard (Susan) Dobson of Shabbona, IL and Andy (Helen) Dobson of Richland Hills, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Mary, a daughter Robin in infancy, his sisters Rosetta and Wilma and his brother-in-law Burnel Rowley. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Dunn Family Funeral Home With Crematory, 1801 S. Douglas Rd, Oswego, IL with Pastor Erik Gauss officiating.
