Diane M Dixon, age 72, of Chicago, IL died Monday, October 03, 2016 at Thorek Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She was born June 24, 1944 in Aurora, IL the daughter of the late Frank A and Helen L (Wallace) Dixon. Diane was a member of the Class of 1962 of Madonna High School in Aurora, IL and then went on to Mount St Scholastic College in Atkinson, KS where she received her degree in education. Prior to retirement she taught bilingually at Cooper Elementary School in Chicago, IL for 32 years. Diane is survived by her sister Frankie (Larry) Poss, two nephews Brian (Jennifer) Poss, Patrick (Shannon) Sutherland and brother in law Keith Sutherland. She was preceded in death also by a sister Martha Sutherland. Private family services were held.
