Peter J. DeMichele, age 85, of Oswego, IL died Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born March 22, 1929 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Peter J DeMichele, Sr. and Josephine DeMichele Campo. Peter served his country honorably with the US Army during the Korean Conflict he was a Prisoner of War for one year, nine months and thirteen days before being released. He is a member of St Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL. Survivors include his wife Anna B nee Marino DeMichele, (whom he married on September 11, 1954 in Beloit, WI), three daughters Katrina Ehlers of Beloit, WI, Deborah (Peter) Bilardello of Floral Park, NY, Mary Anne (Chris) Bice of Oswego, IL, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a sister Rose Marie DeMichele of Kenosha, WI, a brother Paul (Bernadine) DeMichele of Bensenville, IL, also several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Rd Oswego, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr John Ouper on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St Anne Catholic Church 551 Boulder Hill Pass Oswego, IL.
