Delores Claudette "Dee" Light, age 80, of Oswego passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL. She was born October 22, 1937 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of the late Albert and Betty nee Sullivan Fredricksen. Dee was united in marriage to Roger Light on June 11, 1955 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Aurora, IL. She is survived by two sons, Scott (Kristin) Light, Terry (Mary) Light and two daughters Robbin (Dale) Darby and Lark Willmann. Also, by Anna Birchtold whom she became her legal guardian (for 30 years). She is survived by 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her beloved husband Roger Light, sister Barbara Groesch and brother Frank (Buddy) Brauer. Dee was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her as she left to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM until a funeral service 11:00 AM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL. A private burial will be at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery, in Bristol, IL.
