Ixchel A. Deck, age 20, of Oswego, IL died suddenly on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in Frieburg, Germany. She was born December 9, 1993 in Winfield, IL. Ixchel was a member of St Anne Catholic Church, the Class of 2011 of Oswego High School and attends St Xavier University in Chicago, IL (Presently study abroad in Germany.) She was very active in music at Oswego High School in the concert/marching bands and at St Xavier University. Ixchel is survived by her parents Gregory T and Luz M (Hernandez) Deck, her sister Xanthe Deck and brother Gregory Deck, Jr. both at home; maternal grandfather Francisco Hernandez of Oswego, IL, godparents Francisco and Rosalva Hernandez also many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Maria L Hernandez, paternal grandparents Raymond and Mary Deck. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL.
