Debra L Wright, age 66, of Montgomery IL died Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora IL. She was born November 24, 1955, in Chicago IL, the daughter of the late Ivalee Laird and Lillian nee Campbell Jupp. She had been an employee at the Bank of Yorkville and at ATI Physical Therapy prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Church of God. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Timmy Wright; two devoted daughters, Kathryn Wright and Stormy (Pedro) Colón-Ramos; two adoring grandchildren, Nathaniel Colón and Josiah Colón; sister Gara LaVerne Wolff; brother John Brent Laird; many nieces and nephews; and her faithful golden retriever Paxson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Sylvia Laird, and her brother Bruce Laird. She leaves behind a legacy of fanatic reading, cooking with 'color' and sharing delicious results, creativity, love for animals, and fiercely loyal friendships. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 3:00 PM until the funeral service at 7:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. Cremation will follow at American Crematory in Oswego, IL.
