Deborah Lynn
Kenworthy
Jun 3, 1964 — Sep 10, 2026
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Deborah Lynn Kenworthy, beloved wife, mother, daughter, niece, sister, and friend, who left us on September 10, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on June 3, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, Deborah was a beacon of light and love to everyone who had the honor of knowing her.
Debb was the cherished daughter of Leonard and Janine (Sekowski) Gaspari. She was the oldest of six children, her siblings being John (Kristie) Gaspari, Ron (Jean) Gaspari, Danielle (Todd Battaglia), Justine (Danny Stelter), and Lenny (Melissa) Gaspari. Growing up with such a large and loving group, she carried the value of family into every aspect of her journey.
Debb married her soulmate, Mark Kenworthy, on November 22, 1997. Together, for nearly 29 years, they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, happiness, and an unyielding love that was evident to all who knew them. Their union was blessed with three wonderful children, Jordyn, Ryan, and Devin, who were the light of Debb's life. Debb was also a very loving aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Debb's professional journey was varied and impressive, culminating in her role as CMO for a software consulting company until 2024. She was admired by her colleagues for her leadership and dedication, but it was her kindness, generosity, and infectious humor that truly set her apart. Her optimism was a guiding force, providing encouragement and support to those around her, and she was always ready with advice or a smile when needed.
Throughout her life, Debb faced many challenges, but none as daunting as her battle with cancer. She fought with courage and grace, her determination and optimism inspiring all who witnessed her journey. Even in the face of adversity, her spirit remained unbroken, and her unconditional love for her family was unwavering.
Debb leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience. She touched countless lives with her warmth and generosity, and her memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Mark, and their three very loved and loving children, Jordyn, Ryan, and Devin.
