Deanna L. Stevens, age 77, of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born March 10, 1947 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Walter J. and Genevieve A. nee Baumann Diederich.
Deanna worked in the accounting department of UPS for 37 years. One of her greatest joys was being an Avon representative for 28 years, where she loved helping her clients look their best. Deanna was a devoted member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL, where she volunteered as a cook for funeral luncheons. She would also use her cooking talents for PADS. She was deeply devoted to her faith and her family.
She is survived by her husband, Randall S. "Randy" Stevens (whom she married on October 10, 1970), children Brett (Dina) Stevens of Oswego, IL, Brady Stevens of Oswego, IL, Amy (Kyle) Gustafson of Rockford, IL, grandchildren Noah Gustafson, Olivia Gustafson and Skye Stevens, sisters Clare (the late Gary) Risky of St. Augustine, FL, Cheryl (the late Reno) Picciola of Mundelein, IL, Denise (the late Tony) Scholey of St. Augustine, FL, and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 9:00 – 10:30 A.M. at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 11:00 A.M., at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543.
Burial to follow at Risen Lord Cemetery in Oswego, IL.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Kendall County Community Food Pantry 208 Beaver St, Yorkville, IL 60560 in her name.
