Deanna Elizabeth Pawl age 85, passed away December 18, 2025, in her home surrounded by her family.

She worked a variety of jobs throughout her lifetime. Known for her helpful spirit and generous heart, she took great pleasure in doing thoughtful things for others. She retired from Harris Bank of Naperville.

She had a passion for gardening, baking and sewing. All of which she enjoyed with her grandchildren. She loved taking trips to Chicago with all of us to create special memories. Her love lives on through her family especially her grandchildren who were the joy of her life. She leaves behind a legacy of love, and selfless devotion to others. The matriarch of our family. She was a woman of strength and resilience, whose fearless spirit and generous heart will be remembered always.

She is survived by her children. Bonnie Kempiak, Sheridan, Il., Bernadine Leannah, Marseilles, Il., Alexandra Baldwin Marseilles, Il., Stephen Zimny (Lindsay) Sycamore, Il., and Jennifer Garcia (Fernando) Serena, Il. Deanna was blessed with 24 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is also survived by her siblings. Jacqueline (Richard) Verhoff, Edward Pawl, and LaVonne Paschall. Deanna will also be missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mary Jancauskas and Edward Pawl, two grandsons Gavin Alexander Leannah and Oakley Ryder Kempiak, a sister-in-law Lavelle Pawl and a brother-in-law Dennis Paschall.
