David James Regan, age 79, of Oswego, IL, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. David was born on May 23, 1940, a son to late Wilfred and Margaret nee Fox Regan. David was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War. David met the love of his life Tina Klejman and were joined in holy matrimony on May 6, 1967 at St. Hyacinth in Chicago, IL. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Holy Rosary Council #4483 Arlington Heights, IL; a faithful member of St. Anne Catholic Church, alongside being an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks. He is survived and will be missed by his loving wife Tina Regan; two daughters Genevieve (Brad) Patterson of Oswego, Kathleen (Jerry) Wade of Oswego; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Jack, Tatiana, Alexandra, Ryan, John, Colin, and Ashley; a sister Joanne Aldrich of Arizona, and a brother Larry Regan of Glenview. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, David Regan, and a brother, Don Regan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation, PO Box 368 Woodland Hills, CA 91365. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543 at 10:00 AM, Military Funeral Honors will be provided.
