David A. Minnis, age 57, of Oswego, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at his home. He was born August 5, 1960 in Aurora, IL, the son of James and Helen Minnis.   On April 30, 1984, he was united in marriage to Norma Lechuga and spent the next 34 years together. Dave's passion was for his 5 grandkids. He was an extremely dedicated and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His life was his grandkids and family. His family was his greatest accomplishment. Dave touched many lives in his lifetime.   He is survived by his wife, Norma. His daughters Jenny Minnis, Vanessa Minnis and his 5 grandkids.   Private services will take place at a later date.
