David Allen Hassler, 66, of Oswego, IL, passed away at Rush Copley University on Sunday, December 19, 2021. David was born in Princeton, IL, in 1955 to Russell and Velma (nee Mead) Hassler. He was very proud of his work- dedicating over 20 years to Oberweis Dairy. When not working, David enjoyed woodworking, cooking, and playing cards with his poker family. He was a history buff, and loved to read and watch old movies. David is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Velma Hassler, and one brother. He is survived by his close circle of friends; he will be dearly missed. Per David's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and no services are planned.
