Curry, William J. 'Bill' 86 years, of Naperville, IL, died Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born December 29, 1926 in Greenville, SC, the son of the late Julius E. and Cora B. (nee Willis) Curry. Bill served his country honorably with the U.S. Army during World War II. He attained a PhD in education and had taught in the social science department of Joliet Junior College for 30 years. He was a member of Calvary Church of Naperville, IL, The Gideons and former pastor of Emanuel Baptist Church. Bill is survived by his wife, Beverly Ann (nee Crellin) Curry; daughter, Cynthia (Robert) Bell of Oswego, IL; son, Ed (Wendy) Curry of Carmel, IN; two grandchildren, Emma Bell and Zoey Curry. He was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Curry; two brothers, Tom and Gene Curry. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, IL.
