Corinne E. (Corky) Sherwin, age 93, of Eola, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 25, 2016. She was born November 6, 1923, the daughter of Carl and Alma nee Goodson Greenberg. She is survived by her children, Sandra (John) Schmidt of Oswego, IL, Gary (Marsha) Sherwin of Joliet, IL, Grandchildren Tyson (Jen) Schmidt, Aaron (Annie) Schmidt, Kimberly (Jeff) Pippin, Nancy (Bill) Evens, Diana (Bobby) Morgan, and James (Melanie) Sherwin, great-grandchildren Andrew, Alden and Lincoln Schmidt, Afton Pippin, Jacob Lehanna and Ashley Evens, Franklin, Stephen, David and Rosemarie Morgan, Erica, Jessica, Leah and Alexis Sherwin, and a special niece Helen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert and brothers James and Robert Greenberg. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Aurora, IL.
