Cordie L. Rabenda, age 77, of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Edwards Hospital in Naperville, IL. She was born September 24, 1939 in Pikeville, KY, the daughter of McCarty and Ruby Compton Roberts. She was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family above all else. She is survived by her husband Boguslaw Rabenda of Oswego, IL, children John (Sandy) Rabenda of Bolingbrook, IL, Steven (Michelle) Rabenda of MO, Tammy Rabenda of Oswego, IL., 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sisters Grace (Jack) Sanders of OH, Janet (James) Fry of OH, Draxie (Richard) Corrigan of OH and a brother Curtis (Theda) Roberts of OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Theresa and a sister Rebecca Ryles. All services will be private. Memorials may be made to the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation.
