Connie Fox nee Zucal, age 70, of Aurora, IL, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Rush Copley Hospital. She was born on July 15, 1950 to Frank and Mamie nee Martino Zucal in Wind Gap, PA. A loving wife for almost 40 years to Peter Fox. She attended Pius X High School in Roseto, PA, attended business college and worked in the computer electronic sales industry for many years prior to her retirement. Connie was a generous woman who put everyone before herself. She loved going to breakfast every weekend with her husband, spending time with her family and granddaughters, enjoyed crocheting baby blankets – it was a tradition , everyone got a baby blanket from her, reading, solving sudoku puzzles and baking which she made GREAT pies. Connie loved hosting Christmas Eve and kept up with her family tradition of a true Italian Christmas Eve where she would make homemade macaroni. Connie was a beautiful woman and will be missesd by so many. Connie is survived by her husband, Peter, their daughter Kendra (Peter) Sutter, her grandchildren Stella and Scarlett Sutter, her mother, Mamie Zucal, her brother Frank Zucal, a sister-in-law Bonnie, nieces and nephews and her dogs Kelsie and Angie. Her father, Frank Zucal, has preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date.
