Connie J. Bentley, age 65, of Oswego, IL, ran into the arms of Jesus with her family by her side on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Joliet Area Community Hospice in Joliet, IL. She was born on April 15, 1952 in New Albany, MS, the daughter of Donald Lynnwood and Martha Jean Murphy Hodges. Connie worked for AT&T (Western Electric). She also worked at Jewel Osco in Oswego, IL. She was a member of Harvest New Beginning Church in Oswego, IL and enjoyed the Ladies Bible group. In her spare time she loved to go camping with her family, working in her yard and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Michael Bentley, daughter Jennifer (Weston) Bentley-Morcos, daughter/granddaughter Kayla Bentley, grandchildren Sullivan Morcos, Audrina Morcos, sisters Pamela Hodges, Terri (James) Hughlett, Deborah (Andrew) McKinney, brothers Thomas Hodges, Rodney (Tammy) Hodges, numerous special nieces, nephews and cousins, mother-in-law Eileen Bentley and sister-in-law Donna (Hank) Leiskau. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Rebecca Bentley, grandmother Vergie Murphy, niece Sarah Ahlgren and a sister-in-law Sandra Bentley. Visitation will be Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Harvest New Beginning Church, 5315 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543.
