Claudia Jean Sniegowski (nee Champlain), 62, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015 in Aurora. She was born June 26, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois. Claudia was a devoted wife to her husband Eugene Thomas Sniegowski Sr.; loving mother to Eugene Thomas Jr. (Ann Marie Benson), Francis Bruno, Christopher Michael (Victoria Jones); proud grandmother of Nicholas Michael, Brian Christopher, Madison Elizabeth, Ashley Lynn, Andrew Francis, Joseph Anthony, Isabella "Bella" Violet, and Alexander "Xander" Thomas; fortunate daughter of Francis Gabriel and Fay Ruth (nee Cohan) Champlain; fond sister of the late Francis Jr. and Fred Louis (Joann); Blessed aunt to Robert Anthony Sniegowski, Michael Bruno Sniegowski, June Marie (nee Champlain) Hum, Debra Ann (William) Kountz, the late Fred Louis (Michelle) Champlain; great aunt of Brandie and Anna Carrano, Zachary and Jeromy Kountz, Fred Louis III and Michael Champlain; loving and grateful sister-in-law to Robert and Margaret Sniegowski and Carol Ratachie; Friend and "Rent a Mom" of many. A memorial mass will be Saturday December 19, 2015, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 701 South Eola Road, Aurora Il, 60504. In addition there will a mass held in her memory at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 114 South Elizabeth, Lombard, Il 60148 on January 21, 2016 at 12:00 PM. Private burial will take place at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles, Illinois. Cremation was accorded by DUNN FAMILY FINERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, Illinois, 60543.
