Clarence L. Cunningham, age 93, of Oswego, IL passed away peacefully at home on April 3rd, 2023.

He was born August 11, 1929, the son of the late Dola and Zora Cunningham.

Clarence was a proud operating engineer, he worked for Geneva Construction and was a member of Local 150. Clarence loved to tell stories about roads that he worked on in the area.

Clarence was a life member at Lucky 50 Club where he spent many mornings having coffee with his friends and fishing. Fishing was one of his favorite past times.

He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children Sally Bartlett of Center Point, TX, Dennis Cunningham of Okeechobee, FL, Carol Cunningham of Oswego, IL and Patricia (Hector) Serrano of Winter Garden, FL; 14 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

Clarence was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years Kathryn D. Cunningham; his daughter Nancy Jo Junas; three grandsons John G. Kimpan III, Joseph G. Kimpan and Dennis L. Cunningham; parents Dola and Zora Cunningham; siblings Dorothy Friel and Raymond Cunningham.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023, at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 S. Douglas Road Oswego, IL 60543 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Risen Lord Catholic Cemetery in Oswego, IL 60543.
