Charles R. Starks, age 93, of Montgomery, IL, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Jennings Terrace in Aurora, IL.

He was born July 17, 1929 in Verona, IL the son of Thomas O. and Anna Mae nee Hart Starks.

Charles farmed and drove truck his entire life until his retirement. In his spare time Charles liked to golf.

He is survived by his children Tom (Denise) Starks of Eau Claire, WI, Barb (Mike) Thornton of Montgomery, IL, grandchildren Tommy (Amanda) Starks of Eau Claire, WI, Christy (Mark) Virnig of Marshfield, WI, Charles (Stephanie) Warner of College Grove, TN, Jennifer (Jeff) Johnson of Sandwich, IL, 7 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Kathleen Starks of Champaign, IL and a brother Darryl Starks of Morris, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Wilda nee Weir Starks, brother Dean Starks and sister-in-law Patricia Starks.

Cremation was performed in accordance with Charles' wishes and funeral services will be private.
