Charlene Kay (Ringberg) Wheaton, age 81 of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family at her son's residence. She was born September 4, 1940 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Clarence and Clara nee Davis Ringberg. She was a member of Au Sable Church in Yorkville, IL. She enjoyed reading, bowling, fishing, trips up North and spending time with her great-granddaughters. She is survived by her son Randy "Casper" (Dawn) Wheaton of Yorkville, IL, grandchildren Cory (Samantha) Davis of Sheridan, IL, Remington Wheaton of Sheridan, IL, Dallas Wheaton of Yorkville, IL, great-granddaughters Elynor and Charlee both of Sheridan, IL, brother Robert (Frances) Ringberg of Belmont, WI and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronald Wheaton and daughter Tammi Wheaton. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 9:00 AM until a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Au Sable Grove Presbyterian Church, 5021 Wheeler Road, Yorkville, IL. Burial will follow at Au Sable Grove Cemetery. A luncheon at Whitetail Ridge Golf Club, 7671 Clubhouse Drive, Yorkville, IL 60560 immediately following services.
