Charlene A. Buechele, 77, of Yorkville, Illinois, passed away on July 20, 2026.

Born on March 5, 1949, Charlene was the beloved daughter of the late Charles and Laura Belle Anderson. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, David Buechele, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.

Charlene leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her sister, Laura (Dorothy) Anderson Reidenbach; her sons, Joseph (Patti) and Jason (Sue) Buechele; her seven treasured grandchildren, Alexis, Carson, Amanda, Alyssa, Alanna, Audrey, and Jake; her nephews and nieces; and many dear friends.

Family was the center of Charlene's life and her greatest source of joy. She especially treasured time spent with her grandchildren, celebrating their accomplishments and creating memories they will carry with them always. She also adored her grand cats and grand pups, who held a special place in her heart and brought her endless happiness.

Charlene was a creative and talented woman who found joy in painting, decorating her home for the holidays, and creating warm and welcoming spaces for those she loved. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings and making everyone feel at home with her generosity.

She also enjoyed traveling, shopping, and spending time with her cherished friends. Her kindness, laughter, and generous spirit touched the lives of many and will be remembered by all who knew her.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 10:30 AM until a memorial service at 12:00 PM (Noon) at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S.
