Chanhom Patammaboun, 63, of Aurora, IL died on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born February 9, 1962, in Laos.

He was educated in Laos and came to the United States where he began a career as a machinist working for Precise Products Inc. in Warrenville, IL.

He is survived by his loving mother Sivay Patammaboun, two daughters Kristine Patammaboun, Jenny (Nathaniel) Sollinger, three grandchildren Abigail Patammaboun-Garcia, Nathaniel Sollinger, Jr, Chan Sollinger, seven sisters Chantalom Poungmalay, Malay Patammaboun, Boutanom Chen, Kayhom Patammaboun, Phoutong (Toi) Oyer, Phoukham (Kim) McGuire, Souridet "Date" Patammaboun, also by many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Bounnhouie Patammaboun.

Visitation will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 Douglas Rd, Oswego, IL. Buddhist service will be conducted on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home followed by cremation.
