Donal Curtis Chaffin, age 77, of Aurora, IL died Monday, December 30, 2013 at Presence Mercy Center Hospital in Aurora, IL. He was born September 10, 1936 in Gainesboro, TN the son of the late Hulan and Ora Mae Lee nee Chaffin. He served his country honorably with the US Air Force during the Viet Nam Conflict. Don is survived by his wife Theodora Ann nee Tenerowicz, two daughters Valerie (Chris) Tyrrell of Dearborn Heights, MI, Marie Chaffin of Sugar Grove, IL, two sons Steven Chaffin of Aurora, IL, Stanley Chaffin of Sandwich, IL, three grandchildren Colten Lane Chaffin of Aurora, IL, Robert Donal Chaffin Berrios and Sierra Marie Chaffin Berrios both of Sugar Grove, IL, a sister Mabel (Jim) Dumbell of Wentzville, MO and a brother James (Judy) Chaffin of The Villages, FL. He was preceded in death by a sister Margaret Moore. Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL. Burial with military honors will take place on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
