Cary A. Nicol, age 55, of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care in Naperville, IL. He was born March 12, 1963 in Kittery, ME, the son of Ronald Nicol and Joyce Fedorinchik. Cary was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Montgomery, IL. He works for Viking SupplyNet as Vice President of Sales. Cary was a board member of the National Fire Sprinkler Association since 2009 and the Illinois Burn Prevention Association. In his spare time, Cary enjoyed golfing at Mistwood Golf Club and was very proud to have a hole-in-one. He loved any sports team from Michigan, especially the Detroit Tigers and University of Michigan Wolverines. He is survived by his parents Ron Nicol and Joyce Marbrey, his wife Jane Manzano Nicol (whom he married July 18, 2009 in Wilmette, IL), children Christina, Scott, Jeremy (Kim) Nicol, Julia Manzano, grandchildren Ethan and Henry Nicol and brothers Bill (Tracy), Ron (Stacy), Dean (Beth) and Steve Nicol. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. A funeral will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 63 Fernwood, Montgomery, IL 60538. Burial will take place on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Woodmere Cemetery in Detroit, MI.
