Cary M. Hess was born December 10th, 1950, in Clarendon Hills, Illinois.

He attended Hinsdale Central high school and played football. After High School he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served over 6 years from 1970-1976. After the Navy, Cary had various jobs to include serving In the Merchant Marines, working for Flying Tigers, and UPS. Cary is well known throughout the community for his unmatched skills in the Automotive field working at Craigs Auto Service Center in Lisle IL. for over 30 years Cary fixed cars and managed the service shop day in and day out with unmatched integrity and knowledge. Cary was a true Patriot that always put the needs of his family in his best interest. His wife Lisa, and sons Jim and Joe always had the best love and support any family could imagine from Cary.

Cary passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024, in his home in Oswego surrounded by his family.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a memorial service at 6:30 P.M. at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road Oswego, Illinois 60543.

Military Honors will be held under the auspices of the United States Navy at the conclusion of services.
