Carol May Smith, age 79, of Minooka, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. She was born April 25, 1939 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of the late Michael and Sophie nee Martin and step-mother Catherine Sachen. Prior to her retirement, Carol worked as a bookkeeper for various companies. She was a member of Valley Baptist Church in Oswego, IL. She is survived by her children Stephen (Robin) Smith, Stacy Smith, Jennifer (Curtis) Small, step-children Judy Fay Harrison, Glenn (Bonnie) Smith, daughter-in-law Patsy Smith, and numerous grand, great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Smith, brother William Sachen, step-son Ken Smith and step-daughters Glenda Turpentine and Kay Shick. Visitation will be on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 9:00 AM until a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Valley Baptist Church, 2480 Wolf Road, Oswego, IL. Burial will follow at Mt.
